Mad Hatters Cumbria was established locally in 2001 and is now run by Vanda, in South Cumbria. It is located 10 miles west of Kendal. Stock includes approximately 450 Hats and Fascinators for hire, and bespoke Fascinators can be made to order for purchase.

A wide range of Hats and Fascinators is available. Please follow the links to view a selection of our stock. The Hats and Fascinators are supplied in protective boxes. Hat re-sizing is done while you wait. There is a re-trimming service to co-ordinate your choice of hat or fascinator with your outfit.
Our stock includes approximately 450 Hats and Fascinators for hire, and bespoke Fascinators can be made to order for sale. We stock Designers such as Niche Collection, Snoxell-Gwyther, Victoria Ann, J Bees, Nigel Rayment, Whiteley, Failsworth, and many more. Our stock is refreshed regularly to ensure we have hats in a wide range of styles, sizes and colours, to suit all. Personal Service
You can make a personal appointment to select your hat with no pressure of time. Affordable hire charges start at £15 for Fascinators and £25 for Hats. The flexible hire period is at no extra charge. There are designer umbrellas available, free of charge, so you can shelter from that unwanted downpour!
Bespoke Fascinators for sale are created to order – unique to you. Bespoke Hats to buy can be sourced for the Mother of the Bride /Groom and events such as Royal Ascot. Please allow a minimum of 6 weeks before the event for a bespoke item.

Mad Hatters Cumbria is based on Cartmel Fell near the village of High Newton. We are within easy reach of Kendal and Ulverston – about 25 minutes drive from those towns. Please be sure to make contact to get more precise directions.
